Kellie Martin. Martin is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin, the daughter of a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career in acting when she was seven. Her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's children assisted Martin land a role in 1983's show "Father Murphy". After her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting and was able to get major roles on both television and cinema. Martin, who is an actress in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer has been working in the field for over twenty years. Martin is also a mother of two children and is the face of Lupus. Since her 19-year-old sister's death Martin has been working to spread awareness of the disease.
